Rotarians At Work Day: April 2015

11-12th April, 2015

As many Clubs in District 9800 already know there has been fantastic support in the last two years from Clubs undertaking a 'Rotarians At Work Day' in April. ln the last two years Rotarians and Friends of Rotary have pitched in to complete worthwhile community projects. Whether it was refurbishing a park Rotunda, painting a picket fence, gardening for pensioners, renovating a facility for the homeless, running a Multicultural Festival or removing graffiti, District 9800 Clubs made significant contributions to their local area.

This year in 2015, two days, Saturday April 11th and Sunday April 12th have been prescribed as 'Rotarians At Work Days' for doing good in the Community. Whist that is of course the prime aim, unashamedly we want to be visually observed working 'out and about'. So this is also a very important PR opportunity. Please put out signage at your project sites and wear your High Visibility Vests or Rotary Tops and Caps.
