The first century of Rotary Service is worth celebrating. And we will do this in grand style on Wednesday 21st April 2021. Save The Date!

You will be invited to a big event in Melbourne along with 1000+ Rotarians across Australia and New Zealand to celebrate and reflect upon a century of achievement, community building and fellowship. International Rotary dignitaries, Vice Regal representatives, business and community leaders plus Friends of Rotary are being invited. Ambitious? Yes, but we only have one chance in a lifetime to celebrate such a grand affair.


Rotary Indigenous Scholarship Fundraiser Dinner

The Rotary Club of Brunswick Tullamarine is raising funds to sponsor an indigenous law student to attend a cultural enrichment course at Monash University's Prato campus in Italy. The scholarship will run for at least 4 weeks and will include units of study at the campus. The dinner, raffle and auction will raise funds for the scholarship and the club has committed $5000 to the project. The 4 course meal of antipasto, entree, main and dessert will also be accompanied by wine, beer and soft drinks. A Prosecco will also be served as a welcome drink at the beginning of the meal.


The Brighton Lunch 2018 - #stigmastopswithme

This year's Brighton Lunch raises awareness for mental health, promoting the importance of early intervention and removing the stigma often associated with mental health conditions.  In Australia, it's estimated that 45 per cent of people will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime and we are fortunate to have a number of inspiring and courageous speakers to share their stories.

Bacchus Marsh Rotary Art Show    

June 9th to the 11th, 2018

This major art event has developed a considerable following as a much sought after exhibition opportunity and an important fundraising activity for the Bacchus Marsh Rotary Club, enabling considerable support for many local and international projects.

Held every Queen’s Birthday Weekend, the exhibition attracts artists from all over Australia and is enthusiastically supported by local residents and visitors alike. Its popularity and success was manifest once again as it celebrated its 47th consecutive year last Queen’s Birthday weekend.

Alex Lavelle was appointed editor of the Age in late 2016. He had previously been news director, news editor and sports editor. He joined the Age in 1999 from the UK, where he had worked as a sports journalist for Mirror Group newspapers.


Rotary E-Club Movie Night - Breathe    

The Rotary E-club of Melbourne invites you to join them to watch the movie Breathe - starring Claire Doy, Hugh Boneville & Andrew Garfield.

Based on a true story of a Polio survivor, this movie will showcase how far we have come with the vision, started by Rotary of eradicating this disease from the world.

While Polio still exists, the world must continue to vaccinate every child.  All proceeds go the ongoing fight to End Polio.

An Afternoon with Les Twentyman    

The Rotary Club of Caroline Springs is hosting an afternoon tea on Sunday 6th May where you will hear from western suburbs identity, Les Twentyman.

With many years of experience behind him, Les will be talking about the problems that our youth in the west are facing. Many of the young people he comes in touch with are exposed to poverty, abuse, violence, discrimination and isolation. It's his wish and determination to achieve a positive future that is free from these challenges.

Lien holds a Bachelor of Optometry from the University of Melbourne and Master of Optometry from the University of NSW. She has experience working in low-income settings internationally as well as throughout Australia. In 2013 she was awarded the inaugural D9800 Global Grant from the Rotary Foundation to study a Master of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has since worked at Indigenous Eye Health , and now manages 2 delightful tots as well as our Project EndTrachoma by 2020


Carlton Rotary Book Fair

Around 10,000 items will be available priced from $1.

50% of the funds will go to support mental illness research through Australian Rotary Health and 50% to support local Carlton community projects.

Mrs Amanda Elliott, Chairman Victoria Racing Club

Amanda Elliott was elected to the VRC Committee in 2002, the second female committee member in 140 years.  In 2011 she became Vice Chairman making her the first female executive office holder at the VRC. She has served as VRC representative of the Australian Stud Book and Director of Australian Genetics Testing, and is currently in charge of the Design Group for the proposed new Club Stand, as well as a member of the Masterplan sub-committee, Grounds and Gardens, and Disciplinary committees.  Amanda is a Director of a family pastoral company.
